Welcome to Hudsonville Christian and Unity Christian Robotics. We are a parent run, community supported group promoting STEM education through VEX robotics. Our kids are challenged to shine the light of Jesus while learning and competing in robotics.
We currently have 3 programs that we run during the school year for students in grades 5-12.
VEX IQ
5th and 6th graders participate in VEX IQ, building robots to play a cooperative game with another team. Our teams will compete against other West Michigan schools in league nights and weekend tournaments. Students will practice one night per week.

Aerial Drone Competition
The Aerial Drone Competition offers an exciting educational drone sporting event that focuses on hands-on, student-centered learning.
Teams learn about drones, flight principles, programming, documentation and communication skills while expanding their understanding and building interest for Drone-related workforce and career opportunities. Currently this is available for students in the 5th-12th grades.

VEX VRC
7th through 12th graders are invited to participate in VRC. The materials and technology are more sophisticated than IQ and the game is more complicated as well. Our teams will compete against other West Michigan schools in league nights and weekend tournaments. Students will practice two nights per week on teams of two to four people.
